This is my favorite Nepali restaurant, and it never disappoints. I was craving Nepali food, so I came back to try more of their amazing dishes. The vibe was great, we sat out on the patio, there was live music, and the whole experience was just perfectOur server had a warm and welcoming smile on her face. If you are a pork lover then you shouldn’t miss the pork sekuwa, it’s so juicy and fresh. Can’t wait to go back again:)
Great vibes, tasty food, and super friendly service. The place felt warm and welcoming, and everything we ordered was delicious. All the servers were kind and attentive, (Special thanks to Yanky) who made the experience even better. Definitely coming back !!
Had an amazing dinner at this Nepali restaurant.. laligurans! The overall food were to die for, and the dal bhat and mutton was cooked to perfection. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend trying the mutton taas for appetizer.- it's a game-changer! 5/5 stars!" Totally worth it.
I’ve been dining at Laligurans Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the authenticity of its Nepali flavours. The culinary experience was like a delightful journey to Nepal, with each dish showcasing traditional tastes and spices. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the pork sekuwa, which was simply the best I've ever had. It was perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection, offering a smoky flavour that was both rich and satisfying. If you're looking to experience genuine Nepali cuisine, Nanglo Restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended for all food enthusiasts seeking authentic tastes!
First thing first, if you cannot handle pepper hot food; this is not the place for you. To me the food was exceptional. Many restaurants in Canada are hard to find where authentic cultural cuisine is still a thing. Lali Gurans is authentic. It was my first time trying Nepali food, but I would definitely go back. Everyone says spicy, but spicy refers to spices. If you put garlic, rosemary and salt and pepper in, it is spicy meaning spices have been added. Pepper hot refers to hot much pepper there is in the dish. I loved the food, it was a bit cold in the restaurant, but once they remembered to keep the door closed; it warmed up. There was a live band and I feel that I would have preferred them to not be so loud so when I go back; I will choose a night in which there is no band playing. My mistake. That is why I gave only two for atmosphere. I loved the blankets we sat on. The food had exceptional flavour blends, I well and truly enjoyed the food. We tried Buffalo jerky meat, beef jerky meat and chicken. The chicken was like butter. It melted in your mouth. WOW. There are vegetarian options, but not vegan. If you like rich flavours emboldened with pepper heat. This is definitely the place to try. We had fish pakoras. WOW, never had that before. Really really good. All in all I would put them on my list of must try as I really enjoyed the food.
The ambience was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered piro aloo, veg momo, samay baji, and more — everything was top-notch with no compromises on taste. The live music in the background was the cherry on top, adding to a delightful dining experience.
A Hidden Gem in Toronto – Lali Gurans Nepali Cuisine If you’re looking for authentic and heartwarming Nepali food in Toronto, Lali Gurans is an absolute must-visit! From the moment I walked in, everything felt just right. The ambiance is cozy, the flavors are rich and traditional, and every bite tasted like it was made with love. What truly made my experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always wearing a smile. Their service is fast, efficient, and filled with genuine warmth—something that makes the meal feel even more special. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both like a guest and a friend, but Lali Gurans does exactly that. Everything we ordered was delicious—perfectly spiced, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. It’s now one of my favorite spots in the city, and I can’t wait to go back again. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you, Lali Gurans team, for the amazing experience! -AkTenorio
The staff were super friendly, and the ambience was really comforting. I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely server named Prasidhi, who helped me choose what to order when I couldn’t decide — and her recommendations were spot on! All the team members were Nepali, which added a special touch of home. To top it off, there was a live singing event in the background, and my friend and I truly enjoyed the music while vibing with our food. A wholesome and memorable experience!
